fireWow, the power just went out!  Three consecutive times in about thirty seconds.  I think it’s probably out for a while, as this little storm we just had was powerful!  It also knocked me off of my phone call 3 times about 20 minutes ago, a strange occurrence on the cell.  Well, sitting here in the dark gives me the opportunity to start to put together this weeks monumental list of the best of the best in personal finance.

Some of these ways to fail are downright hilarious!  Especially the first…a few months ago, my manager was interviewing an applicant, and afterward, I asked how he did.  My manager said, “I knew as soon as I walked in the room that I wouldn’t hire him”.  When I asked how he knew so quickly, he responded, “he was chewing gum”.  Good call Fiscal Geek, #1 is spot on.

This is just a good read.  Period.  Instead of waiting for the triumphant return of our economy, why not just adjust to what we have now and evolve?

I just recently started wit Burn Notice. My brother recommended it to me and I’m enjoying it so far. Great round up by the way!
